Dutaspor 0.5 mg, containing dutasteride, is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men by shrinking the enlarged prostate and improving urinary symptoms. It works by blocking the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which reduces prostate size. This helps relieve symptoms such as frequent urination, weak urine flow, and difficulty starting to urinate, and can also reduce the need for prostate surgery.
