Anti-anaemic injection
CipFCM (Ferric Carboxymaltose) 50 mg/ml injection is used to treat iron deficiency anemia in patients who cannot tolerate or have not responded to oral iron, those with non-dialysis-dependent chronic kidney disease (CKD), or those requiring a rapid increase in iron stores. As an iron replacement product, it helps the body produce red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body.
Specific Uses:
To replenish iron stores: when oral iron preparations are ineffective or cannot be used.
In patients with chronic kidney disease: who are not on dialysis.
When a quick build-up of iron stores is needed .
For patients who are intolerant to oral iron, a group that includes people with inflammatory bowel disease.
